Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and hosting a television show on MSNBC. She's also often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in May 2021 to launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. As of the year 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that her renewed political interest due to her experience being a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries. Additionally, she also observed the US elections for president during her time working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected those in the country, and thus became aware of the impact that US politics have on the lives of everyone around the globe. She was part of the Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She established the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May of 2017.
