Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011) and the spokesperson of the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an influential political contributor to CNN. She worked on re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was appointed John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki also worked as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named press secretary for President Obama's election campaign. The 11th of February 13th, 2013, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State. There was speculation she would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she was there until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
